Please help me out- is this good set up plan?

Since The Speaker company is offering 40 off... i feel that i should take that since its good for my budget plan.

I m trying to keep it under $600ish. its for movies and games PS3 and once a while music.

I m going to buy Onkyo 607 and $150 ish subwoofer (undecide) .

How do you like my plan 5.1:

For front:
TC2 center
TSB-L pair (near the wall maybe 10" between the wall and speaker is that okay ?)

Sides: TSB P-6 pair

The front set up will be top of my TV furntine

Sounds like a good plan.
If the system is mostly for movies and you're mounting the surrounds to the sides rather than the rears you might want to consider the TSS-B. They're a dipolar and sound great for movies, but not so good for music, but I listen to music in 2-ch anyway.
For $150.00 there are a variety of budget subs out there. Dayton makes some good ones.

Good plan. Don't forget if your fairly handy you can build a sub and get much more for your money.

It's not a direct match, but I just bought a pair of the TST3 towers and am VERY pleased at the clarity that they offer in the treble and midrange. I see them as a very good value (and the bookshelves use the same tweeter). If you get them, please give them at LEAST 20 hours to break-in. I used to think that speaker break-in was snake oil and BS, but I am at the 15 hour mark and they have improved noticeably (more air and the midrange is SUPER smooth, and the bass is getting fuller/deeper every hour). They sounded good to start with, but time is needed to have them sound their best. If the bookshelves sound like the towers, I feel strongly that you will be pleased with their performance, especially for the 40% off right now.
