Please Help a Clueless Guy Who Wants to Learn

Hey guys,

I have very minimal knowledge in this type of stuff but I am very interested in it. I was wondering if you guys could direct me to any links that had information on just the basics of audio and video interfaces. Really any links would be appreciated, even if it doesn't seem like something I'm looking for. I'm just looking for general information that I can read up on and try to get more familiar with AV stuff. Whether it's interfaces, cables... WHATEVER it may be.
