Player/Streaming device that DECODES Master Audio, and DD-true HD

I am looking for a box that plays BD, streams netflix and amazon, and DECODES(not passes through), DTS master audio and Dolby true HD.
My receiver has HDMI but does not support the newest format decoding. Formerly my PS3 was set to decode surround, and send LPCM, and everything was great. I no longer have a PS3, and I cannot find a player that has all of these features. I looked into a HTPC, but netflix does not support surround via silverlight. Any suggestions? If nothing else, I will just get another ps3/4 I guess.

Thanks.

Hi. I just verified that my Sony BDP-S3100 blu-ray player will do that for DTS-HD MA 7.1 over an HDMI connection. I haven't checked Dolby TrueHD, but I'll be surprised if it won't do it.

The S3100 is last year's model, with the 3200 replacing it this year. I can't speak to the 3200 but wanted to let you know that my fairly inexpensive unit will do what you want.

Sony BDP-S5100 does this. May stutter on a few very large, hi bit-rate M2TS files. Conversion to MKV using MakeMKV resolves this issue. I've tested it, and my Harman AVR 3600 tells me it can both output the originaL DTS HD-Master stream, or re-encode to PCM. This player can read also both stereo and multi-channel SACDs and is able to convert the DSD stream on-the-fly to a 176.4 Khz PCM because few receivers and DACs support direct DSD, and few are willing to pay for a more upscale unit with Analog outs, this is probably one of the best compromises one can make to enjoy better sound with SACDs without going broke.

I'm currently waiting for my Oppo BDP-103, but the Sony is staying hooked because it is quite a fantastic streamer. It really is a good and well-rounded media playback device for what is a modest price, given it's performance.

Cool! I did not know that.
It may seem like an obvious capability, but, I and probably a bevy of other people, haven't been in this game for long enough and do not know how it evolved.

I've seen a few pictures of SACD players' backs on Google image, and many made available XLR connections, but only for stereo output. Because I have no clue what SACD tech was like in the past, I thought it safer not to assume multi-channel is/was always available on all SACD gear.

The sarcasm on your part seems to imply that the answer is/was obvious, but trust me, Adam, it isn't.

I wasn't being sarcastic. :) I didn't know the 5100 could play SACDs. I honestly think that's cool. I have an older Oppo that I keep in the rack mostly for SACDs.

I though you where being sarcastic about me mentioning multi-channel playback as if it was an obvious given. Sorry.
