Plasma TVs sales surege 30% in Q2

Plasma sales continue to keep pushing forward, and with the latest spurt, plasmasgoing anywhere anytime soon. Sales for 40"+ LCD sets remained flat for the same period. Consumers are becoming more of big box stores marketing practices and are looking for better value combined with better PQ.

I'm not surprised. Panasonic did an amazing job of offering very high quality 50" 720p sets for under $1k and 42" for well under $600.

I'm very impressed with Panasonic across the board. They run the gamut from relatively low end to high end and all of it is very solid.
