places to go shopping for speakers? So. Calif

Hello All,

Hope you all having a wonderful weekend.

I live in Los Angeles, I was wondering if any of you would suggest a place to go and test out the speakers?

I have tried Bestbuy, PacificSales, Ken Cranes.

any other suggestions?

They only sell their speakers, but Ascend Acoustics would worth a trip. I'm not sure how far from you they are.

Also, if interested in any particular brand... go to that mftr website, go to "find a dealer" or "dealer locator", plug in your zip... and voila.

I give a big thumbs up to Ascend speakers. My close friend bought them on my rec, but they are only for music, so we never pushed them for HT levels. As for the classical stuff I fed thru them, I don't think I've heard better for the money.

Good luck. Wait a second... aren't you the guy that just bought new speakers, BWs?.... oh well. I myself took many months to choose....
