Pioneer vsx52tx elite or pioneer 1015tx?

hi guys, need some expert advice on which rcvr to purchase. what are the differences between the 2 models? the extra component input is pushing me to the 1015tx. anything else i should consider as the specs are very similar. TIA!

We've been discussing in length the difference between the Pioneer models available at Best Buy and the ELITE models they seem extremely similiar to.

As for a quick answer. Unless you really want multi room and source capability, the 2 year warranty offered by Pioneer and the status of having an "ELITE" labeled receiver, the 1015TX seems to have more going for it. The third component input and THX Select 2 certification give you a few more options regarding connectivity and processing. Also, if you purchase the 1015TX at Best Buy the 4 year warranty is only $35!
