I am using a Pioneer VSC-1020k and a 50” Panasonic plasma TV. I wanted to be able to watch TV without having the receiver turned on, so I connected the HDMI from my cable box directly to my TV. I then connected my TV back to the receiver using the outputs on the back of the TV. Now when the receiver is turned on, I can listen to TV audio through it.
I can’t figure out how to get the on-screen display to show up on the TV. This is not normally an issue, but I would like to be able to see album art while listening to my ipod through the receiver. I can’t figure out which connections to make to view the OSD on the TV while keeping everything else as I have it. Any suggestions?
