I wanna buy a simple receiver.
I'm thinking bout Kenwood VR-806 (or the kit HTB-707DV). But there are not so good things about it here.
So, by the range price, I'm thinking about Pioneer VSX-D515.
It's a small room, to watch movies and the speakers will be Ar_HC5.
Please help....
Ah, and Pioneer VSX-D812??

Tks,
Gorducho.

That speaker set is a little power hungry, but it's small and won't require much to get them to go. Here's the specs on the speakers. Sound impressive, eh? Good marketing there.

I'd take either of the Pioneer units over the Kenwood IMO, but an in store demo would really tell the difference. The Kenwood may in fact drive those types of speakers better. Generally, Pioneers are a higher quality unit than Kenwood, but I've heard before in this forum the Kenwood drove satellite speaekers better. That's a tough one for us to call.
