Pioneer VSX-D510 Receiver - Digital Input Failure

So I watching digital cable TV and suddenly my PVR and Receiver reboot. When the PVR is done rebooting the picture comes back BUT no sound thru the Receiver (sound direct from TV works fine).

I tried every button adjustment but nothing restored the sound. I also checked sound thru the Optical Cable for my PS3 and that too is without sound.

Any ideas on why both my digital inputs would all of sudden die?

Help! I'm without surround sound

Many thanks,

Dave

I would bet that the power glitch that caused this has changed your HDMI output setting.

The audio from HDMI out can go to the TV or the receiver and out to your speakers, but not both.

Go to the set up menu and make sure HDMI audio out is set to off, then the audio will go to your speakers.
