Pioneer VSX-815 vs 816

I ordered a Pioneer VSX-815 but was just informed that they ran out of that model but they were going to send me the upgraded VSX-816. It appears to be this years model but not much different. I was wondering if I will be losing anything that the 815 had. I ordered the 815 because of the review on this site. If anyone knows I'm getting a good deal from this or if I'm getting screwed please help me out. :)

Thanks
Mike

The 816 has a different amplifier design than the 815 had, but I have no reason to believe the new design isn't at least as good.

I'd be willing to bet that the 816 has better options for setting it up. I'm using the 516 at the moment and it has a feature for setting your room size (S, M, or L) and also your seating position (whether you're closer to your front speakers or the rear surrounds). Granted, these are manual settings. I doubt if the old 815 model included such settings. Go with the 816 and be happy. I'm quite sure the sound will amaze you.
