which one would you recommend? I have had nothing but problems with my yamaha rxv 363 and am likely going to dump it.
I realize that these are entry level, but I am going to die by the wife if she finds out I am even looking at something new, after paying for a yamaha piece of work :D
I definately want dolby true hd and audio and video hdmi, not just video like the yamaha I have

thanks

I would stretch to the 591 if you can or check out the deals section regarding the Onkyo 508. The 591 uses Audyssey MultEQ and the 508 uses 2EQ which isn't as good, but still better than nothing which is what the 520 and 391 offer. To answer your original question, I'd probably go with the Denon.

To rephrase old quote from famous blockbuster:
Pioneer components, Denon component - it's all made by Sherwood (at least most of stuff under $1000)

My heart goes towards Denon too, but alas at this price point you'd better off with Refub Onkyo from AC4L
