Pioneer VSX 45TX vs. VSX 55TX

<font color='#000000'>Because the new 55TX came out many places are unloading the 45TX with a deep price cut. &nbsp;I'd just like to get the major differences so I can determine if it's worth the new-product-price.</font>

<font color='#000000'>The biggest difference is that the ne 55TX has a iLink 1394 Firewire and a USB port, the 45TX only has a USB port. &nbsp;The USB port is for now, only for use with a computer for MP3 and WAV playback. &nbsp;That is really the only major difference, however I always felt the same way about audio equipment as I do with computers, buy last years best an' save crap load of money and be happy.

<font color='#000080'>I haven't heard one yet, but it looks like they've done some upgrades to the DSP engine, included a mic for the MCACC, added i.LINK, and added component video OSD (probably up-sampling as well?)

I'd be very interested in doing a review on this latest unit to see how it stacks up to similar offerings from Denon and Yamaha. At an MSRP of $1700 it is priced lower than the Z1 or the 4802R.</font>
