Hi all, I recently installed a ViewSonic PJD7820HD projector and a 120" screen in my home theater. I was so blown away by what I ended up with, that led to a new AV receiver due to the HDMI compatibility issue. I bought the Pioneer VSX1023k. Feeding that is a Sony BDPBX510 3d Bluray and a Direct Tv DVR. Prior to buying any 3d DVD's I set up the whole thing and it worked very well. Then came the 3d Bluray movies. When I attempt to play this, I get flashes of the intro scene on the projector, but no continuity. On top of that, it seems to screw up the receiver to the point that the Direct TV on the Sat input no longer works. It's a ***** to get it all working again. I figured my HDMI cables were not up to par, so I bought cables touting 3d etc. they seemed to make things worse. I managed to watch about 10 minutes of 3D earlier by hooking up the BR player directly to the projector. That doesn't even work anymore. Just seems to piss off the projector. I'm about at the point where I use the $30.00 3d movies like clay pigeons. What gives ? Any ideas ? Thanks again.
