The RTi10's are basically an RTi6 sitting on top of two 7" - as Polk calls them "subwoofers." Unless you have a separate amp, you won't get the full benefit of bass from the RTi10's. There are straps on the back of the RTi10's, and when you remove them, playing the top end of the towers really opens them up (like the RTi6's). When you strap the speaker terminals, the towers become hogs. They remain 8 ohm nominal, but on a multimeter, they read 4 ohm. My advice - go with RTi6's on stands for the front, or at least compare them to the RTi8's. You won't get the bass from the towers even with your powerful Pio 1015 in stereo mode.
Also keep in mind, the crossover is set at 2.7kHz on the RTi10's, 2.8kHz on the RTi6's, and 2.2kHz on the RTi8's. That means the 6.5" driver reproduces more mids in the 6's and 10's compared to the 8's.
