Those of you with experience on the Pioneer SC's how musical are there class D amps compared to a A/B amp of a yamaha?

Currently have a NAD T762 that I love the sound from. But alas it is coming time to upgrade to a HDMI switching Reciever.
I am driving Paradigm Studio center and rears, james bookshelf fronts. All devices I use now are HDMI capable, Xbox360, PS3, HTPC and DirectTv and yes 3D is important since it all goes to a Panasonic 50" VT20 3D plasma tv. Thinking they both have passthrough on video so no lag is added to gaming.

So yeah I am having a hard time deciding between a SC35 or a RXA2000.

Direct comparisons are not going to be easy to find at this time. I would choose the unit that has the feature set you need, as both at their price points should perform well with most speaker loads in most rooms.

ahhh.....a musical receiver.....Its the software, ie cd, dvd etc that is musical. The hardware is a souless collection of mass produced chips. The receivers are assembled by Oompa loompas in the far east who get a bathroom break every 12 hours and have no access to soap or towels.....so if you are one of the lucky one in a million consumers and get a truly musical receiver, make sure to wash your hands after handling it....Seriously, both companies make good units.....I would however avoid last years Yamaha 65 series and have heard horror stories about NAD problems and support. I own Yamaha, but would go with Denon if I had to make a choice today
