Pioneer SC-79 value

This was the flagship receiver for pioneer a few years back when I purchased it. I’ve now replaced it with a Yamaha Aventage 3080. The only thing that doesn’t work on the receiver is the secondary HDMI output. The first, third and cat5 all function fine but my dog chewed the hdmi cable going to the projector and fried that second port.

I think I have the box even in storage. What do you guys think it’s worth? I only replaced it because I wanted Atmos decoding.

With a HDMI out, umm 100 buck? If you take it to a Pawn Shop, you'll be lucky to get 50 bucks for it..

On ebay they're going from $525 to three times that, so there's a pretty wide variance for the few available. You will have to discount heavily because of the failed port (thanks Rover! )

I’m going to offer it to friends for like 250$ or maybe use it in a garage space possibly. I wasn’t that upset with the dog I used the cat 5 connect it was a long run for hdmi to start with. I had a 4 year warranty from Best Buy on it and figured I’d take it in but never did.

I have this and more that is coming out of my system to make room for new speakers I’ll have tomorrow or Tuesday.

Take the unit in, I would, I'd be like man all of a sudden the HDMI just quit working....lol what they gonna do? They can't prove your dog ate the cable like a dog bone...munchen on it.
