Pioneer>Marantz>Samsung Picture dropouts?

i have had this problem before, and since rectified. However I wonder if any one else has this handshake problem with HDMI?

It seems to be an issue with marantz talking to samsung, so say a marantz rep. I just run HDMI to the LCD now and no problem.

I have had no problem with Marantz, Pioneer or Denon - from models
that are younger than your older, 7001 Marantz series.

I have a pioneer elite reciever connected to samsung tv, no issues.
