Well.. all was well, even when the name changed to Geneon.
But... about a year or so ago.... : poof : up and went away. Pissed a few people off (including me...) when they did this.
So... for a while.... nothing.
No Samurai Champloo.
No Chobits.
No Akira.
No X.
No Trigun. (list goes on)
Nothing. Production ceased.
Great Anime, and quite a few are really legends, just stopped being made right out of the blue.
Well, for a little bit, FUNimation has been releasing some of Geneon's "would have beens". They do a good job; packaging isn't as nice as Pioneer/Geneon will ever be, but, it's good. XXXholic seems to have pretty good packaging thus far.
Well.... more funny crap. Universal may get their hands on them. And do what you ask? Hopefully not **** up the program any more I say!

Lucky for me I guess, that I have probably half of what I wanted from Pioneer/Geneon. I'm still missing Champloo, Trigun, and Paranoia Agent (maybe a few more).
