Hey,
can you guys take a look at this and tell me what you think.

Those tall speakers are actually 2 sets. You can see the cube speaker on the top on the one. I am planning on keeping those there attached. I am will be able to get this for $300CAD new.

But I just realised that the I wouldnt be able to use another set of speakers since the cubes are also seperate, so all the speaker inputs would be used up.

I am not sure. This fits right into my budget aswell.

arent those small ones supposed to be behind you for rear surround use?

also, dont worry about using up all the OUTputs because the speakers included are usually only what they can power ... (no room for improvement)

They can be used as surronds, but on top of the taller speakers there is like a slot where they can fit in.

If you are looking for HTIB (Home Theater In a Box) I would look at the Onkyo HT770. You can get it for about $350 refurbished. It will give you a good entry level amp and some OK speakers. I believe it is a much better bang for you buck. Look at www.jr.com.
