Is the price hike worth it to buy the Pioneer over the Shure. Are Pioneer HDJ-2000 good with movie and games and thing other than music (personal experience)?

The question "is it worth it" is a very subjective question...what's worth it to one person might not be worth it to another. What made you select these two headphones?

Since you are interested in the Shure models get the Shure 840. You won't be disappointed.

I found for their prices they had good specs. Across the board good reviews. But how do they fair in the realm of film or games if necessary.

What would you say competes with them or even surpasses them?
