I just bought a VSX-82TXS AV receiver and am connecting a Denon DVD and DirecTV H20 HD Receiver to the HDMI input ports and connecting the HDMI output to my Samsung LN-S4095D 1080P LCD TV.
Denon DVD works fine but the DirecTV does not. Image appears for 1 -2 seconds and then the DirecTV appears to cycle through the 480i/480P/720P/1080i formats and gives up.
It works if I connect it via HDMI directly to my Samsung TV but not if I go through the Pioneer Elite receiver.
Anybody tried this succesfully? Any ideas?
