Pioneer Elite vsx-54tx- Good Receiver?

I have a chance to buy a demo at a great price. How does tthis reciever compare to Yamaha? I am looking at the Yamaha 757.

Is Pioneer elite better sounding? Ease of use?

I like the sound of Pioneer compared to Yams, but thats me. Buy both and return the one you don't like.

It is a very good receiver, the sound is superb. and he is very friendly and easy to use. I like it very much.
