Pioneer Elite VSX-29TX problems

this is the 3rd time where the DSP chip has lost its soldering!

Im quite PO'd about this reciever! Tried contacting Pioneer and they give me a cold shoulder on a replacement board, anyone else have this problem with this receiver?

VSX-29TX audio problem

I had the same problem recently with my Pioneer VSX-29TX. The DTS board went out and it cost $300 for the board. The first sign of trouble is that it took about 10-20 minutes before the audio came on. After a short while, the sound did not come on at all. This sounds like a common problem. Anyone else?

Where did you get the replacement board? I'd rather pay $300 at this point then buy a new reciever.
