first let me say Im new to forums and new to the home theater audio world so i appreciate the help. I recently bought a used Pioneer elite VSX-21TXH and Klipsch HD Theater 500 speakers. after setting everything up i turned the system on and with the previous owners settings i played some music and listened to a BR. you could feel every bit of sound going through the floor and up your spine it awesome but during movies it was all base and very poor highs. the previous owner had much better speakers than me i i figured it would be best to reset the entire A/v. after that i ran the auto mcacc test with a microphone at my couch. i let the system do its thing and when i looked at the results it had the distances down to an inch i was impressed. the sound was much better than before movies and video games sounded crisp and clear. i actually felt surrounded by sounds of people walking behind me. but now i have no real base any more and the system just seems like it lost the overall loudness it had before. i am new at this and have no idea how to tweak this system without destroying the overall sound quality. any advice or help would be appreciated. and if it would help to have pictures of the current settings let me know and i will get them asap. thanks again

For starters make sure all speakers are set to small, and with those Klipsch satellites that the XO is set to 120Hz - 150 Hz. If you want more bass, you can increase the sub level a few Db to your liking.
