Pioneer Elite DV-48AV

I got the Pioneer Elite DV-48AV to primarily play both SACD and DVD-A. The upconversion factor is nice but I already have an HD-DVD player that will do that. I have 2 questions:

1. The Toshiba A3 only upconverts to 720p while the Pioneer can upconvert to 1080p. Since the Toshiba is an actual HD-DVD player does it upconvert "better".

2. After reading about the Oppos I feel that I may have made a poor choice going with the Pioneer. What do yall think?

I have the Elite player and am very happy with it. I A/B'd it with my PS3 and it performed very well, I couldn't tell the difference between the two at all. I use it rather than the PS3 so I don't put too many miles on the unit too quickly. I haven't run into any playback issues or road blocks personally. I did read from a couple people when I was researching this unit that, although it says it will in the manual, that it does not output SACD multi-channel over HDMI. I haven't had a chance to test this out since my receiver doesn't have HDMI input, but that isn't a big deal to me at all anyways. Hope this helps a bit, and in my opinion, you made a fine choice.
