pioneer bdp-121

I am buying the pioneer bdp-121 on thursday...i already have the ps3 but ill keep it only for games. Anyone got that bd player already?...any comments would be nice!.

i dont have it but if you get it let me know what you think. Glad you posted this because I checked it out and like it. I am curious from those that have it if it plays all formats with no problem. Price looks good as well.

i just read the manual and noticed that it doesnt read mp3's but no big deal i can play my mp3's on the ps3..lol...i will let you know what i think...

the pioneer bdp-121 works perfectly and gives me all the bitstreams codecs..including dts-hd-master... and the PQ is awesome too...

Thanks for the update, I may pick this up. I would love the Oppo but cant justify spending the money on that right now. If I pick up this player that means I would have to upgrade my Yamaha receiver HTR 5960 since it does not support HDMI. true dolby and master audio are only sent through hdmi correct?

Woaw big deal, but Pioneer BDP-121 is not a Pioneer. It is made by Sharp and is different of the "true" Pioneer Blu-ray (BDP-320,...). The BDP-121 is not a bad guy, but both picture and sound quality are better on BDP-320.

But of $135 : ok, I buy it.
