Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers

Does anyone have these inexpensive andrew jones pioneer speakers hooked up to some nice amps?

I am considering a small project, dedicated 2 channel, turntable system, using these speakers for, med size l listening room.

One config I am thinking of is Adcom GFA 555/GFP combo.

Don't know this mid 80s stuff compares to new, but used that Adcom gear for years 30 years ago.

If you do a search, there are a couple of hundred threads on these. I had mine running on my Emo XPA-3.

As long as your old gear still works and sounds good to you, it doesn't matter how it stacks up to newer stuff.
