pioneer 515 question

is this receiver a 6 or 7.1? most places advertize it as 6.1 but the owners manual shows you can run it as 7.1. so confused.

It is Powered 7.1 If you have a quick glance at the Back you will see that it has 7 Powered outs. There is no 7.1 Channel encoding supported by this receiver nor by the 815/915. So it is Equalized 7.1 not encoded 7.1.
