I can't comment on Pinnacle but Athena Technologies (Energy Speakers sister company?) is going through new product launches and the current Audition series (good performance vs. price) is available currently at good discounts in order to flush out inventory from the likes of Futureshop, Best Buy, etc.
Alot of ppl have said good things on this site about the Athena brand, you might want to give them a listen.
