Pinnacle BD1100 advice

I can purchase a new pair of Pinnacle BD1100 for $998 from a dealer that is liquidating them. Although I’m in the market for a new pair of tower speakers, I didn’t intend on spending 1k for them. Is this price too good to pass up? Your feedback/advice would be appreciated very much…
