I've been hearing rumors that the most recent reissue of DSOTM on vinyl is the best sounding vinyl remaster yet. This is the so-called 30th Anniversary edition, which was mastered by Acoustech, the mastering studio owned by Chad Kassem at Acoustic Sounds. This studio has turned out some vinyl gems, so the rumor is somewhat believable, but since I already have numerous other versions of this recording (both Mofis, UK, US, Japanese and German pressings, SACD, Mofi gold CD), I want to make sure this version is worth finding room in my vinyl cabinet for.
