Well I was trying to wait on the SVS PB12... As everyone does when your waiting for the release of something you google it everyday and see if there is any new news... Well in doing so I stumbled on people discussing the Outlaw LFM-1 EX

I also noticed the price of the Outlaw.... $550 with free ship  I essentially got it for $450 +shipping... imo after reading reviews, that can not be beat...

So I ordered one! I also plan on getting a Gramma Pad for it too.

My first question is on placement. Ive read the "Crawling for bass" and there was some good info. but to keep WAF high I am only left with one maybe two places to place the sub. My prime spot is in the front corner of the room. Honestly I am a bit scarred to do so. I defiantly don't want this big boomy monster.

Anyhow, Ill be updating this thread frequently this week...
:D

Congrats. I also picked one of those up during the sale, and I'm very happy with it. I didn't do a sub crawl or anything, since I only had one spot for it to fit :D

Having it in a corner isn't necessarily a bad thing :)

Can you move it even two-three feet out from the corner along the wall?

Probably not, my second choice spot is right beside that chair in place of the end table. But then I would have to run a cable under the floor, drill holes, and my sub would be out in the open... I am sure my 2w/o would love to color on it and turn all the knobs on the amp....

This is probably how ill set it up again... But I might put the sub in the opposition corner.

Corner loading isn't all bad for a sub. My new apartment pretty much requires it. We'll see what I do to compensate.

WAF seems to trump everything else. Just be glad she permited the sub.

Im glad to verify that you can put it in the corner. I've seen too many saying i couldnt and was getting worried.

Aw. Mine got here 3 or 4 days earlier than originally expected :D

Anyway, don't just assume it's going to be a boomy mess in that corner without even hearing it first :)

Picked up a Tuba 60 with 2 two Lab Woofers couple of days ago. Thought my roof is going to come off. Luckily I have good neighbours
