I have a Philips DAT880 DAT recorder, and i am looking for technical information.
The Philips DAT880 is as far as i know a prototype, built by Marantz. Only 100 pieces have been build. It looks almost identical to the Marantz DT84.
Since the Philips DAT880 is a prototype, no information is available.
The Marantz DT84 however has been sold on the market. So there must be information available of the DT84. However, i can not find any.
Maybe someone here can help me with technical information or a service manual of the Marantz DT84 / Philips DAT880. I would like to know what transport it uses. (i think its a Sony, i am not sure).
