Peacock is set to become the first streaming service to adopt next-gen Dolby Vision 2 alongside Dolby AC-4, signaling a major leap in both picture and sound quality. The upgrade promises improved brightness, motion handling, and more consistent HDR performance, while delivering more efficient, feature-rich audio streaming. With expanded support for Dolby Vision and Atmos across live sports and on-demand content, Peacock is positioning itself as a leader in premium streaming experiences. But with limited hardware support and unclear rollout timing, how much of a real-world impact will these upgrades have—and do these features actually matter to you?

looks like Peacock finally might bE worth it , once I can afford to replace my tv .
Wow my tv didn’t include the brightness or HDR wasn’t worth paying $1200+ for when I got it .Sony XBR-55X810C …
so no Dolby Vision , let alone 2. I wanted Samsung next but they
Refuse to offer Dolby Vision.

For me, I just don't find Peacock has the content to deserve paying for the audio/video tech offered.

I’m losing 100s of sports games to Peacock, and Amazon prime . We have spectrum which supposedly offers free Peacock, but my dad won’t activate it or Disney or HBO + ..
But I’m looking for a job no luck . Walmart ghosts applications …
