Pcm disc problems help

I rewired my hometheater system with new wires and wanted to test out a blu ray disc, but the dts master audio true hd dolby would not show on display on most discs


Funny thing software audio plays codecs?
Should I buy a new reciver or keep trying to fix?
Why does software work not discs?

Player ps4
Hdmi output
Ps4 output for dts or dolby bitstream on
And 5.1 selected
yamaha rx reciver
Reseted everything
Rear wiring 14 gauge
Front 12 gauge

Try setting the player output to Bitstream and not PCM.

Make sure tou are using the right audio track on the discs, not all default to the best one.
Make sure you are not using any sound mode that ‘overrides’ the hd master decoding.
