Ok, I upgraded my pc's video card to dvi tv out. I connected it to my 32" sharp aqous ldv tv, but I have to turn the resolution waaaay down, (640x420) to see an image.

Usually I would have it much higher, (1280x860) with a regular analog monitor, but at that resolution, the lcd screen jumps like crazy and I can't get a stable crisp image.

I'm extremely frustrated, can anyone provide advice?

Try checking the refresh rate on your PC monitor and the TV. There might be a difference (PC monitors are 50hz and TVs are 60hz - not too sure about this)...

Only specific resolutions are supported via DVI/HDMI, unlike analog connections. Check the manual to find out which resolutions and refreshes you can use.

Sorry to piggyback this question, but with my Samsung DLP, I cannot get my computer to display the image full screen. It either gives me a border around my picture about 1/2 inch on each side, or I can change the picture through the remote and then it cuts off 1/2 inch on each side. This happens whether I use DVI or VGA. Any recommendations. I am using the ATI Radeon XL800 video card.
