Hi there
I've just bought an onkyo 605 receiver and am in the midst of setting everything up. I have a pc outputting 1080p through a DVI > HDMI cable, and the receiver is correctly passing this through to my projector. The image is great.
My question is what do I do about audio. DVI does not transport audio, and if I connect an optical or coaxial cable between the pc and the receiver, the receiver does not pick up the sound since the input is set to hdmi [and presumably its expecting the hdmi to have both audio and video]. So how do I get video via the hdmi and audio via the optical?
