Just wondering what thoughts are on this amp. Do you guys think I should sell it, or keep around?

Is this amp considered "old" tech? Its pretty powerful and I believe it can run bridged 350 @ 8Ohms per channel.

Just curious is all...

I think that's a fine amp for misc use. I'd use it for multiroom speakers personally. If you decide to sell it, PM me.

For amps, "old tech" often means solid construction. But Parasound is a contemporary company which has maintained good standards.
Looking at the specs, one thing that stands out is it does not provide a spec for 4 ohms when bridged, so, if you decide to bridge it and your speakers impedance drops low, you could have some issues. Unless your speakers are a difficult load, the unbridged 135W into 8 Ohm or 200W into 4 Ohm should do well and Parasound is pretty good about not fudging on their specs. Having John Curl's name as the designer is probably not so big of a deal as is typically made of it, but it probably does help the resale value. (I don't mean this as an insult to Mr. Curl, but Parasound stayed his hand with budget constraints on all but their top amps, and I doubt there are any really significant contributions he could make that were outside of standard well-established amp design - but please correct me if someone knows otherwise!).

It is probably a good idea to keep it, unless you need more power or very low impedance capability or some such thing. Even then, I would not be in too much of a hurry to get rid of it, if I had another system in which it could be used.

Basically, although there have been advances in amplifier technology, they have been able to make great sounding amplifiers for decades now, so there is no need to get the latest model.
