I have four Parasound amps running in a small cabinet that is semi-enclosed and I have no heat issues whatsoever. These amps run very cool. I have 2 of the HCA series and 2 of the new classic series stacked on top of each other with 1" spacers under the feet. I have no fans or anything. I live in Georgia and it can get a little warm here in the summer. No heat issues at all with these amps. I am driving a total of 4 speaker pairs with these amps with 2 of the pairs being 4 ohm load and 1 pair being 6 ohm load.

When I am running flat out they are warm to the touch but by no means hot. I think I put a temp probe inside the cabinet back in the summer and the inside of the cabinet was about 105 degrees.

I can say having 4 individual amps makes a big difference in sound and flexibility.

The Parasounds are very well built and the support is first rate. I have even had the pleasure of swapping a few emails with the president of Parasound and he has helped me out.

Having said that, I am considering a tube amp or hybrid amp for my main front speakers but only to experiment with and see if I can get a little more warmth or fluidness from music listening.
