Parasound 5250 vs Rotel RMB 1095

I found both the Parasound 5250 and the Rotel RMB 1095 available for $1800 delivered. Is one better than the other?

I personally like the look and finish of the parasound. It has slightly more power in 4 & 8 ohm, so that might come in handy. This is only an observation on my part for a more astute recommendation the experts will advise you

Both are terrific amps, you can't go wrong with either one. If you could listen to both before you buy that would be ideal, then your ears could decide.

Barring that, then I would probably go for the Parasound just for the extra 50 watts.

Thanks for the responses guys. I have listened to both, and they both sounded great to my ears hence my quandry.

take note that the parasound does not quote its wattage ratings with the same THD ratings as rotel. so those extra 50 watts might simply be window dressing. but IMO, I would say they were similar. looks wise, I like the rotel. if we were talking about the HALO on the other hand ...
