Paradigm substitute for front towers

I was all ready to start purchasing my new speakers and reciver (BIC Venturi setup) when I went into my local Audio store and heard a set of Paradigm Phantom (I think, definatley not monitor series - $499/pair) front towers - I was blown away at the sound. The only problem is that I cant fit the full fronts next to the entertainment center due to some heating vents on either side of the center. So, what speaker series in the paradigm line would give me something close to that full front tower sound and feel, but allow me to mount hem on the wall next to the entertainment center. I am willing to spend upward of $450 on the pair, and i would really like to stay with the Paradigm line as I can listen to them and the store is only 5 minutes away.

I am thinking something along the lines of the monitor 3 or monitor 5 set, but I am using a Pioneer VSX-D811S for a reciever at the moment and don't know if it can handle them. What's the real difference between them?

Thanks,
jer

The Paradigm Monitor 3 and 5 are total different speakers. The Monitor 3 is a 2 driver speaker using a 1" tweeter, and an 8" bass/mid-range speaker. The Monitor 5 uses a 1" tweeter, 6 1/2 bass/mid-range, and a 6 1/2 bass driver. The cabinet size of the Monitor 5 would make the sound a little fuller in the mid's and bass along with the added driver.
But I thought you wanted to stay around $499 a pair? Here is a question for you. Do you do a lot of music listening? Or just some here and there? Is the system going to be for HT? If so, are you going to set it up as a 7.1 system? What is your total budget for speakers, keeping in mind your speakers should be where you speand the most money?
Please let me know the answers to my questions so I can help you better.
