Hi my question is in ref to replacing my rears which are now mini monitors with either the studio 20 or ADP 590 to match my fronts which are studio 40 and my centre which is a CC590. My question is which speaker would provide better sound in the rear. I am not able to wall mount the 590,s due to room. The speakers will have to be on stands which are placed next to listening position on left an right side.

All opinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If they are going on stands, I'd go with the 20s. I personally prefer monpole to bi/dipole as your room sort of has to support bi/dipoles and that is not always the case. Having monopoles at ear level, with the ability to precisely adjust their aim so you can have more diffuse or more direct sound is a plus to me. The 20s cost a lot less too.
