I just purchased a paradigm pw 2200 subwoofer. I am hoping that it is the v2 model as opposed to the v1. How could I tell the difference between the two?

It'll clearly indicate the model on the back of the unit. If it's being shipped, why not ask the person you bought it from? It's a pretty important piece of information.

The sales rep stated that since the serial number started with a 2 that it was the v2 model. After getting home last night I was looking at the two models online, which seem identical and that is why I want to make sure it is the 400 watt model.

I to have a pw-2200 v2. The back plate on the amp has no fins being a class d amplifier. The v1 was not a digital amp so I believe it had cooling fins on it. Also there is a sticker that should say pw-2200 v2 and then the serial #. My serial # is 5 numbers beginning and ending with a 2.
