paradigm pw2200 questions

Ok so i am inheriting a paradigm pw2200 sub.....i was looking at buying a new sub like the HSU VTF models, but a free sub is hard to turn down.......so i have a large basement room with an open floor plan and bar, etc so my listening room isnt accoustically friendly. Since im getting a free pw2200 i figured i would go with 2 subs to even out the bass in the room.....i know the pw2200 is an older sub any ideas on another sub i can pair with it or what i should look for??? Do i need to find another pw2200 to pair it up with?

I think pairing it with something else will prove difficult. The PW2200 is a very capable subwoofer. It may be tricky to procure another. I would add it to your saved searches on eBay.

I've got my PW2200 paired with a sealed DIY. My miniDSP corrections look like mangled barbed wire fence, but I didn't have to look for a matched sub anyway. By the way, age notwithstanding, it is a very nice sub. Congrats on the free sub that doesn't suck!
