My dad has a Paradigm PW-2100 powered subwoofer being pushed by an Integra amp. The connection is a single RCA feeding into the R- Low Level Input on the back of the subwoofer. From what I understand, this is a sufficient connection.

Recently, I realized that during any time when the subwoofer was working at medium to high performance, it would cut out (the light on the front remained yellow) and would never return to functioning until the power plug was removed and re-plugged in. Also, when it cuts out, you hear a brief "click" or "pop" followed by a very quiet, constant high pitched noise coming from somewhere in the woofer.

Think the power supply is hosed? Anybody have quality issues with Paradigm? Recommend any troubleshooting?

Thanks for your help.
