Paradigm Monitor series v5

Apparently there is an updated Paradigm Monitor series version 5, i found out accidently while browsing an online retailer, i haven't found much other than a poor quality image and some forum postings online stating only that an updated Monitor series has been launched.

I'm not surprised that the Paradigm website doesn't offer any news, there marketing division is horrible, you would think they would coincide a new product launch in tandem with a website resfresh of available information?

Anybody seen any PR material describing the enhancement/features?

I heard the new mini-monitors a couple of weeks back and they sounded great. don't know much on the specs though.
The v5's are shipping and when I went into my shop the regional paradigm rep was setting up all the new stuff.......

I spent some time with the monitor 9's and mini monitors last Thrusday. Paradigm has consolidated the econo line into the monitor line and then consolidated models within the line. (the old 7's and 9's are replaced by the new 9's with 6.5" drivers like the old 7's, say that 3 times fast. )
If you compare the old and new specs you'll see that they want a smaller foot print and a more spl's and to get this they gave up some bass extension.

All that being said they sound very nice still very "detailed" but smoother in the high end (to me and my not so good memory...). I was told by the salesman that the tweeter technology from the signature series has flowed down hill.

A dealor mentioned to me both the studio and monitor have new lines coming out does anyone know where you can get the specs on these and has anyone heard them???

Monitor series look and sound good, Im still waiting to hear the new Studios, my dealer doesn't have them yet, and he will not have most of the line...
small dealer... gotta leave town to get a better view...

nice looking monitor series, I'll seriously consider these for my dad's HT

I thought my center speaker was huge... look at that cc390! I want!
