Probably neither...Both good, but take a look at HSU and SVS websites for units owned and recommended by a lot of people here. You get a a little more performance for less money. Klipsch previous RS line was very good, but too expensive in its catagory..don't worry about matching brands with a sub.

I think you'd getter better performance for the price range out of an SVS sub. I'm a klipsch fan and have demoed the rw-10 on many occasions. Its a good little sub but for me I don't consider it to be an excellent primary sub. I think the RW-10 would be a fantastic second sub to help even out the room on an all klipsch system ( which I'm considering myself) But if you are gonna have just one sub get an SVS.

PS - I have an RSW-10d in my dedicated HT and love it! but its a different animal than the rw-10d

PPS - I paid $1,000 for the RSW-10d ($300ish less than retail :) ) but if i had had an extra $600 bucks I'd have bought a SVS PB Ultra. But I had to draw the line somewhere and i really like the look of that big copper woofer.
