So I cant give a professional review or post test results, however I can give you a "not your average electronics consumer" point of view.
I calibrated it to the best of my amateur abilities using Spears & Munsil. I Did have some issues with the grey scales. Once again a result of the dim picture. I couldn't see all the numbered lines.
I'm into my 4th month of ownership and really have no complaints. Except for the same one I voiced here when I first got it. Its kinda of dim. It also only has 2 HDMI inputs. It makes up for the few HDMI inputs by having a component video input.
I replaced a faulty Samsung ln40a530 and what a remarkable difference in picture quality. Mainly the blacks. The color representation is noticeably better as well. Obviously motion blur is pretty much non-existent, sports look amazing and real.
I have the tv in our living room with a large bay window about 20 feet to its right, so I cant really tell how bad glare would be. The picture looks great both day and night.
I hope this is helpful!
