Panny AX100 or Optoma HD72?

Hey folks-

Any insights on the best projector between the Panasonic AX100 (LCD) vs Optoma HD72 (DLP)? I can get the Optoma a little cheaper but $ aren't the factor I am worried about. More concerned about picture quality. My room is well light controlled and install won't be a factor. I haven't seen either in demo but know both have rec'd pretty decent press. I intend to use mostly for movies but also some tv.

Thoughts?

Thanks a lot!

I'd say the panny from reading reviews, but the DLP is a tempting argument with the deeper blacks.

Don't know what to say...

I would get the DLP in a second over LCD if I knew that I could position it perfectly in my room and not use digital keystone correction.

I currently have an LCD projector and have tried other LCD and DLP models and without fail, DLP has looked just a bit better overall every time.

Of course - be aware if any family members have RBE issues.
