Hi,

I'm looking for a new Hulk HDTV to buy. Mainly for Sports as I'm a sports and secondly for movies. Some SD and of course HD/Blu Ray viewing.

Money is no concerning factor.

What is a better HDTV

1- Pnasonic TC-P65V10 vs. Sony KDL-55XBR8.
2- My Room is 14 feet x 12 feet and seating distance is 13.5 feet. Does the room size and seating distance justify a 65" TV or it won't be clear.

Thanks
GB

First at 13.5 feet you better go with a 65'' then a 55'' and anyway the V10 plasma will easely outperformed the sony's lcd...:)

The V10 has better viewing angles, better motion resolution, better black levels (that don't have a green tint like the Sony), and it's 10 inches bigger. I would go with the Panasonic without question.

Agreed. Viewing angles and black level uniformity are reasons enough for me. Everything else is a bonus.

V10 all day everyday. You watch primarily sports? That in itself is the biggest reason to get a Plasma. Have you seen the XBR8? It has a greenish gray tint to it. Colors are not nearly as pronounced or deep and natural as on the Panasonic.
